LG Electronics unveils new HDTV
LG Electronics today unveiled two new HDTVs that are set to be a big hit with consumers.
The 37-inch and 42-inch LCD models are smaller and more technically advanced versions of the 47- and 55-inch varieties already on the market.
An impressive 5.4 trillion colours can be reproduced from the sets’ two-megapixel HD panels, which LG claims provide images twice as clear as regular HDTVs and six times sharper than analogue sets.
The new releases come with a 250 GB hard disk that records for two hours the instant the set is turned on and can store up to 92 hours of recorded television.
The sets are expected to sell for around ten per cent more than LG’s regular HD offerings, although LG believes the high specifications of the sets will entice a considerable number of buyers.
Increasing numbers of film distributors and video game makers are providing HD content, meaning high definition set owners can enjoy a greater amount of content than ever before.

I need to get me one of these.
250GB hard disk in a HDTV that can store up to 92 hours of television.
I would never miss another episode of EastEnders again
