NVIDIA PureVideo brings high definition to PCs
NVIDIA has developed PureVideo, technology that provides hardware acceleration, content security and integration with movie players, to deliver high definition video to PCs.
The introduction of high definition video to PCs means desktop and laptop computers will be able to display HD content with the same sharpness enjoyed on high definition TVs.
NVIDIA PureVideo offers high quality image scaling, video colour correction, LCD sharpening and integrated standard definition and high defintion output allowing you to connect your TV using Composite, S-Video, Component, DVI, or HDMI connections. It also offers a resolution of up to 1080p depending on the connection type and quality of TV capability.
