Panasonic produces artistic surrounds for selected plasma HDTVs
Plasma TV owners have been encouraged to add a little sophistication to the viewing experience, with the purchase of a custom-built artistic frame from Panasonic.
Panasonic has added eight new designs to its range of frames, which will add “an elegant, personalised accent to the designated Panasonic plasma TV”, according to a company statement.
The argument, convincing or otherwise, is that users can enhance their TV-watching experience with a frame that matches the decor of their room.
Designed for select 42-inch and 50-inch Panasonic plasma models, the new frames are available in pewter, walnut, black, antique white and a variety of gold finishes.
And as an added bonus, Panasonic has also released a collection of HD art and photography, meaning that viewers can simply sit back and observe a digitalised version of their favourite Michelangelo, Leonardo or Monet.
“We discovered with last year’s success that there is an emerging market for users who want their TVs to be more than what they have been - to become the centrepiece of their new digital lifestyle,” said Merwan Mereby, vice president of Panasonic’s e-business operations.
“Our innovative frames take the high definition plasma lifestyle to a whole new level in style,” he added.
