PC Magazine polls readers on their favourite HDTVs
PC Magazine has completed a survey of its readers on their favourite HDTVs. So, who makes the best HDTVs?
According to the readers of PC Magazine, it’s Pioneer.
The publication recently asked readers for their opinions on various electronics, including high-def sets, and found that Pioneer HDTVs had the highest score with a 9.1 out of a possible 10.
PC Magazine writes that Pioneer’s score may be higher than other brands because the company specializes in Plasma TVs which tend to get higher scores. The magazine gave Pioneer a “Readers’ Choice” award for the segment.
Pioneer also scored a 8.7 for its rear-projection HDTVs.
Sony finished just behind Pioneer with an overall score of 8.5 and it received “Readers’ Choice” awards for LCD TVs (8.6 score) and tube TVs (8.4 score).
