Release of Blu-ray titles announced
After a run of delays and rumours of production line problems, companies supporting the Blu-ray format have been handed some better news.
Warner Home Video, which has the largest film library of any company in the world, has announced that it is to release a number of titles on Blu-ray disc on August 1st.
The titles will be launched to support the wider release of Blu-ray disc players in the US.
Training Day, Good Night, and Good Luck, Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang and Rumour Has It will be released on the format, with further releases to be announced over the coming weeks.
“Warner Bros. is a leader in home entertainment and it is our ongoing mission to provide consumers with a broad choice of options for the next generation, in-home experience,” said Ron Sanders, President of Warner Home Video.
“These initial Blu-ray titles demonstrate the superb quality of high definition across a range of genres providing consumers with a cinema quality experience from the comfort of their homes.”
Blu-ray offers six times the storage capacity of standard DVDs and also boasts improved menu facilities that allow viewers to access features without stopping the film.

I think that the ability to access features whilst watching the film sounds interesting.
I would like to see that in action.
