Telewest to show World Cup in high definition
The cable operator Telewest has won the right to show coverage of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in high definition.
Every World Cup match broadcast by the ITV and the BBC will be available for viewers in high defintion.
However, it is only availabe to viewers with Telewest’s TVDrive personal video recorder.
To deal with the growing demand for HDTV.
